Charging on the go
The French company Stations-e combines green energy, mobility, and telecoms. The company is responding in various ways to the challenges of transitioning to a climate-neutral, digital world. For instance, they install charging stations to make it easier for people to drive electric cars. As we all know, driving electric cars is another way to reduce CO2 emissions. Besides these charging stations, Stations-e provides high-speed mobile internet access and offers local services to support local businesses.
Every year, Stations-e installs more than 2,000 new charging stations in France. The company is looking to expand within Europe and is also exploring a range of other solutions. The stations could, for example, include a parcel collection point or car-sharing facilities.

Our investment in Girasole Energies helps to generate solar energy on existing sites or land provided by Girasole Energies’ customers (rooftops, car parks, abandoned land). Alongside contributing to the development of green energy, Girasole Energies’ customers enjoy a range of benefits in the form of extra revenue, renovations of large rooftops, and extension or modernization of buildings. Customers can also use the local, competitively priced green power they produce through a long-term contract. Despite being a young company, it already has 100 of these local power plants in operation. And with 500 projects in the pipeline, the outlook is bright!
