Message from the social partners: Our pension is going to change

The Netherlands is heading to a new pension. Why? Pension rules worked well for years, but that is changing. It is now not clear enough how much money you pay together with your employer for your pension. And is the economy doing well? Then sometimes pensions cannot grow along or not fully. Thirdly, people change jobs more often, stop working for a while or start their own business. The old pension rules do not fit well with this. Therefore, they need to be adjusted.
