The convenience of 'My SPF Pension' and digital SPF mail
The new website and 'My SPF Pension' environment are live! If you live in the Netherlands, you log in with your DigiD. The DigiD app is the most handy. Because two-way authentication will become compulsory wherever you log in we have already set this up now for your safety. Two-way authentication means that if you log in via your DigiD with your login name and password, you will also need to enter a code sent by SMS.
SPF Digital post and private email address
From the beginning of October, all the mail you receive from SPF will be sent digitally. That way, not only will we be able to reach you more quickly, but we will also save a lot of money and paper. Acting in an environmentally conscious manner is very important to us, and we will send you a personal message about this. This message will also tell you how to change your preference to receive your mail digitally or by physical mail if you still wish to receive communication from SPF as a letter. We will then send you a personal message by mail, even if you already communicate with us digitally. You will find out why when you open your mail. And the first time you log on, please remember that we prefer to have your private email address on record, so we can reach you at all times.
The UPS this year
In September you receive your Uniform Pension Statement. Due to changes in legislation and regulations, we had to adapted the UPSs. This took a bit more time. That’s why you receive this year’s UPS a little later than you are used to.
Starting this year, the UPSs must show our estimate of what will happen to your pension in the event of above-average or below-average economic performance for an extended period of time. You therefore see amounts on your UPS that are an estimate of the purchasing power of your pension with SPF if there are windfalls or setbacks in the future. As of this year, we will also have to send separate UPSs if you already receive a full or partial benefit or if you are a member of different schemes.
